      This ultra-high-speed video captured at 10 million frames per second illustrates the single-camera, single-laser-shot, time-resolved laser-induced incandescence technique for capturing two-dimensional soot incandescence decay times. This experiment was conducted in a turbulent non-premixed ethylene jet flame before and after laser heating at a height of z/D ≈ 140 (450 mm above the burner) for Re = 20,000.
