      The Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) has altered several areas of our lives. In this scenario, educators across the globe needed to reconfigure their practices, adapting them to the pedagogical potentials of digital technologies, which make it possible to carry out educational activities in a context of social isolation. In the process of adapting the curricula, especially as far as the promotion of teaching-learning-use of English as a second language (L2) is concerned, some of these teachers needed to quickly become familiar with the role of curator in Applied Linguistics. Therefore, this article aims at analyzing the pedagogical potential of the Digital Educational Resource Quizizz in the light of Sabota and Pereira (2017). In order to achieve this goal, we designed an exploratory research, with descriptive characteristics. The results indicate that the use of Quizizz may be relevant at all levels of education. ; A pandemia do Coronavírus (COVID-19) alterou diversas esferas de nossas vidas. Nesse cenário, educadores em todo o globo necessitaram reconfigurar suas práticas, adequando-as aos potenciais pedagógicos das tecnologias digitais, que viabilizam a realização de atividades educacionais em um contexto de isolamento social. No processo de adaptação dos currículos, em especial no que tange à promoção do ensino-aprendizado-uso de inglês como segunda língua (L2), alguns desses docentes precisaram se familiarizar rapidamente com o papel de curador(a) em Linguística Aplicada. Portanto, o objetivo desse artigo é analisar as potencialidades pedagógicas do Recurso Educacional Digital Quizizz sob a luz de Sabota e Pereira (2017). Para atingir esse intento, delineamos uma pesquisa exploratória, com traços descritivos. Os resultados indicam que o uso do Quizizz pode ser relevante em todos os níveis de ensino.
