      The research aimed to elaborate a proposal of mathematical games that help students in the calculations of addition and subtraction operations with Whole Numbers. The research intended to answer the following question: how can mathematical games help in the teaching of whole numbers, in the understanding of concepts, and in the development of students' abilities? For this development, a game was applied. The intervention was carried out in a public municipal school, in a 7th grade class, located in the city of Pedro Régis- PB. The National Curriculum Parameters (PCN), the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) and authors such as Grando (2000), Paiva and Rêgo (2010), Kishimoto (2009), among others, were used as theoretical reference. For this, the research is classified as applied, as to its approach, as qualitative, as to the objectives as exploratory and, finally, as to the technical procedures of investigation as case study, as research instruments were used a game, a questionnaire with questions to identify the potentialities of the game in the teaching of Whole Numbers and participant observation. The analysis of the data showed that the game enables a better understanding of Whole Numbers, an improvement in socialization and in the development of self-confidence, thus confirming the use of the game as a viable and efficient proposal in teaching-learning. ; A pesquisa teve como objetivo elaborar uma proposta de jogos matemáticos que auxiliem os estudantes nos cálculos das operações de adição e subtração com Números Inteiros. A pesquisa pretendeu responder a seguinte questão: como os jogos matemáticos podem auxiliar no ensino dos números inteiros, na compreensão de conceitos e no desenvolvimento das habilidades dos alunos?
