Silent black and white home movie depicting camp-like activities, many of them involving children : canoe races, swim races, diving from a floating dock, sailing, and running races. Other footage includes people of a range of ages socializing on a waterfront lawn, a parade (with floats titled "1826" and "Ye Ole Rag Bee") and people playing tennis. Original medium and format: silver gelatin emulsion on cellulose acetate film, 16mm Running time: 00:14:34 This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services MA-31-17-0401-17. ; Date note: The parade shown in the film includes a float with the year 1826 on it, and there are numerous articles in the Hartford Courant indicating that the town of Madison celebrated its 100th anniversary with various events, including a parade, in 1926. This also fits with the styles of swimsuits seen in the other footage.
