Facultad de Biología. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil. Facultad de Ingeniería Química. Maestría en Ciencias en Ingeniería Ambiental ; Ever since man discovered fire, it has significantly disrupted the environment, as their economic activities have changed and changed the conditions of ecosystems, and also had significant input of pollutants, which are the main source of air pollution with volcanism [Seoánez Calvo, 2002]. Emission inventories are quantifications of the type and amount of pollutants that occur in a given area. Morelia, like every metropolis, you need to keep a continuous control in the production of emissions and avoid irreparable damage to the environment. In recent studies in the area, it has been established that the vehicles are major contributors in the production of pollutants in the city which is very important to make an inventory of Mobile Source Emissions. Inventory of Mobile Source Emissions for the City of Morelia along with a comparative analysis between estimates for mobile sources for the city of Morelia emissions are performed as currently, with fuel use ultra-low sulfur and implementation vehicle inspection program with MOBILE6-Mexico program. MOBILE6-Mexico model, which is an adaptation to the country of US EPA model was used for the inventory,. It was fueled with geographic, petrol and vehicle of the city. The model provided us with emission factors, which are transformed to total emissions. The data needed to power the program was provided by the Division of Climate Change of the Ministry of Planning and the Environment (SUM), the National Weather Service (NWS) and the National Institute of Ecology (INE).
