نبذة مختصرة : Currently, air quality monitoring systems are attracting interest in research and application. In this paper, we propose an IoT system for automatically monitoring the air quality. The system consists of wireless sensor nodes to collect air parameters (such as CO, SO2, PM2.5,…) and transmit these data to a webserver via 3G/4G network. The system allows users to monitor pollution levels via a website and a mobile application. Unlike previous studies, the proposed system not only measures individual air parameters but also combines them to calculate the VN-AQI index according to the decision 1459/QD-TCMT recently issued by the Vietnam Environment Administration. This unique index makes the assessment and building of a digital map of air quality more efficient. Experimental results demonstrate that, the proposed system has high stability and the VN_AQI index is calculated and displayed correctly on a digital map.
