Reprezentacija islamističkog terorizma u hrvatskim medijima ; Representation of Islamic Terrorism in Croatian Media

Terorizam je postavljen kao jedan od najvažnijih sigurnosnih problema u akademskom, političkom i medijskom diskursu modernog doba pri čemu se mediji razumijevaju kao poveznica modernog društva. Do promjene u sigurnosnim prioritetima došlo je 2014. godine kada se organizacija Islamska država okrenula internacionalnom terorizmu pa se pretpostavlja da je suvremeni diskurs terorizma isključivo diskurs islamističkog terorizma. Stoga je cilj ovoga rada analizirati medijske napise o fenomenu islamističkog terorizma u trima hrvatskim medijima tijekom 2015. godine tako da se izdvoje i opišu središnji termini, pretpostavke, oznake i sadržaji koji postoje o fenomenu jer se pretpostavlja da navedeno utječe na proizvodnju znanja o islamističkom terorizmu, proizvodnju identiteta uključenih u fenomen i na klasifikacije svijeta i stvarnosti koje nastaju temeljem navedenog. Teorijski okvir rada sastoji se od teorije socijalnog konstruktivizma, teorije diskursa i odnosa medija i terorizma. ; Terrorism is positioned as one of the most important security problems in the academic, political and media discourse of the modern era, while the media is understood as the link of modern society. The change in security priorities occurred in 2014, when the Islamic State organization turned to international terrorism, so it is assumed that the contemporary discourse of terrorism is exclusively the discourse of Islamist terrorism. Therefore, the goal of this paper is to analyze media articles about the phenomenon of Islamic terrorism in three Croatian media during 2015, in order to single out and describe the central terms, assumptions, labels and contents that exist about the phenomenon, because it is assumed that the latter affects the production of knowledge about Islamist terrorism, the production of identities involved in the phenomenon and the classifications of the world and reality connected to the phenomenon. The theoretical framework includes social constructivism, discourse theory and relationship between terrorism and the media.
