نبذة مختصرة : Shoulder impingement syndrome impairs the quality of life and biosocial functions of many people (Moezy et al., 2014). These individuals often experience difficulties at work and sports due to pain and shoulder dysfunction. Many authors say that it is very important to do as much research as possible on this topic because shoulder impingement syndrome affects a lot of people. However, there are missing a comprehensive overview of all relevant interventions (Ruedi et al., 2017). An analysis of the scientific literature has shown that the shoulder impingement syndrome is usually caused by direct or indirect factors. The pathological mechanism is a structural narrowing of the subacromial space. The onset of this syndrome is also influenced by age, gender, and lifestyle. One of the primary treatments for SIS is physiotherapy and the main goal of this treatment is to reduce pain and restore joint function. The scientific literature review analysis of six scientific publications has been established that the effect of different physiotherapy methods have a significant effect on pain. Shoulder joint pain most reduced through a combination treatment by using active cross-stretching which increases laxity of shoulder joint posterior capsule. However, also to this treatment programme have been included electrical therapy and heat therapy. According to the review of the scientific literature, the effect on hand function was positive by using different physiotherapy methods. Therapeutic strengthening and stretching exercises combined with kinesiological taping had the greatest impact on hand function results.
