Brincamos a crescer? Ou crescemos a brincar?

Relatório da Prática Profissional Supervisionada - Mestrado em educação pré-escolar ; O presente trabalho visa relatar a experiência vivida ao longo da Prática Profissional Supervisionada (PPS), do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar. Aqui é descrita a caraterização refletida dos contextos socioeducativos onde foram realizadas as intervenções (creche e jardim-de-infância), as intenções pedagógicas para ação, assim como é exposta a problemática sobre a qual considerei pertinente refletir de forma aprofundada e fundamentada. O brincar foi a temática escolhida para dar maior ênfase durante a minha PPS, visto ter sido uma vivência bastante díspar nos dois contextos e desta forma merecedora de reflexão. Procuro defender, de acordo com diferentes referenciais teóricos, que o brincar livremente promove aprendizagens significativas para as crianças, devendo por isso ser bastante valorizado. Relato alguns episódios que sucederam durante o estágio, que sustentaram a minha necessidade de refletir sobre esta temática, com o intuito de, na minha vida profissional futura, criar situações/ambientes capazes de promover o desenvolvimento das crianças através de momentos de brincadeira. ; ABSTRACT This report describes the experience lived along the Supervised Professional Practice, of the Masters in Preschool Education. Here it is described the reflected characterization of the socio-educational contexts where the interventions occurred (child daycare and kindergarten), the pedagogical intentions for the action, and it is also exposed the problematic on which I considered appropriate to reflect in depth. The “playing” was the theme chosen for emphasis during my SPP, since it was a different experience between the two contexts. I seek to defend, according to several theoretical frameworks that playing freely promotes significant learning experiences for children and therefore should be highly valued.
