      Since ancient times, having the diagnosis of epilepsy brings with it stigmas and other features that can cause certain problems in your social, personal and academic life; this can possibly result in a learning disability. Therefore, this article presents bibliographic research that aims to analyze the possible hazards and other factors that may affect the learning of a subject. Based on this, the researcher sought to identify the main outcomes and implications associated with epilepsy and learning. The results showed that the epileptic learning process may be impaired due to the stigma that epilepsy brings, to the medications the patient needs to take, and to brain injuries that can come from these. Finally, it has been concluded that due to the possible learning difficulties which these individuals may experience, the expectations for them to carry out targeted work and to fully acquire the language, executive functions, attention, memory and behavior of a subject can be the cause of a learning disability. This learning-related work will be handled by an educational psychologist, and research will be conducted in order to find the real reason behind the difficulty in finding the necessary intervention. ; O sujeito com epilepsia traz consigo desde os tempos antigos estigmas e características que podem acarretar determinados problemas em sua vida social, pessoal e acadêmica, onde irá resultar possivelmente numa dificuldade de aprendizagem. Com isso, este artigo ora apresentado trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica que teve como objetivo analisar os possíveis prejuízos e fatores que possam afetar a aprendizagem do sujeito, partindo desse olhar buscou identificando quais são os principais comprometimentos e implicações associados á epilepsia e aprendizagem. Os resultados apontaram que o processo de aprendizagem do sujeito epilético pode ser prejudicado devido ao estigma que a epilepsia traz às medicações que precisam ingerir e as lesões cerebrais que os mesmos apresentam.
