Remediating, Reframing and Restaging the Museum

The final chapter of the book draws some perspective back to the first chapters, focussing on how hybrid museum experiences may also challenge museums in unforeseen ways. We charter the ways in which a hybrid museum experience can change the way a museum is experienced. Depending on context and the reasons for introducing a hybrid experience, these changes can be seen as design opportunities, but they may also challenge the expectations of stakeholders, including both museum professionals and visitors.
