      Acompanha: Etegami: possibilidades de diálogo com a arte do cartão-postal japonês. ; Observing in school daily life that, despite the great access to information and technology, students read little, write little and little know what to do with so much data and tools - consuming but without absorbing them in a sensitive and critical way-, therefore, the present investigation is justified, it is asked: “How to encourage the reading and literacy training (literary and artistic) of students?” , "Can Art effectively become a sewing thread that creates connections/embroidery with other school subjects?" and "Does Japanese culture have the potential to contribute to teaching practices in public school classrooms?" . With such questions, the objective of this work is to know and understand the art of the Japanese postcard - etegami – and its motto “It's fine to be clumsy; it’s the clumsy that is good” (in the sense of artistic freedom, of not having a model), as an artistic expression that can assist in the literacy and artistic awareness of Brazilian students. It also aims to: indicate the practice of etegami for the continued formation of teachers, regarding the dialogue between different languages; seek their and their students' literacy, as well as to value their humanization, in the sense proposed by Candido. Methodologically, this is an action research, bibliographic, and of qualitative nature, guided mainly by the studies of Koch and Elias, Candido, Certeau, Cosson, Manguel, Kleiman, Kristeva, Samoyault, Clüver and the etegamist known as Dosankodebbie (Deborah Davidson), as well as by the concepts of interarts, intermidiality and intertextuality. The studies resulted in the production of a training course, for teachers of the basic education system and for high school students, entitled “Etegami - possibilities of dialogue with Japanese postcard art” and the website-material for this course: "Dialogues with etegami".
