      HONORÉ ANDRONNY and JOSEPH LANDRONY - IS THERE A CONNECTION ?? CA 1677 Birth of Honoré ANDRONY, Riez, Provence (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence). For additional (but not confirmed) information, see correspondence from Dr. Sylvain Poujol of Toulon. [Riez, departement Alpes de Haute-Provence (04), arrondissement of Digne, population 1,379, natives known as Riézois. Roman ruins. Main commerce is the essence of lavender. Seat of a bishopric from the 5th century up until 1790 (Nouveau Petit Larousse, 1971 edition).] 1720, 11 AUGUST FFL 1:107 "List of company officials and workers for the concession of Marquis Dancenis embarked on the Seine bound for Louisiana from L'Orient." Honnoré ANDRONNY, excavator, is listed as a worker for the concession of M. Le Blanc and the Marquis Dasfeld. With him are his wife and three children. [Also in Toup's Mississippi Valley Pioneers, pg. 98. Not listed in index of Maduell's List of the Census tables.1699 through 1732.] Note: In both FFL and Toups, the first half of the list (workers for the concession of the Marquis D'Ancenis) has a column provided for in- dicating the "naissance" of the embarkees; this column was omitted from the second half of the list (workers for the concession of M. Le Blanc and M. Le Marquis Dasfeld); no explanation was given for this omission. 1721, 9 DECEMBER FFL 1:216 "List of company workers who are actually in Louisiana" ANDRONIC, Honoré is listed as one of 12 "Laborers", comment: Good. (Jean VATTIER is listed right under him) 1722, 19 MAY FFL 1:218 "List of company workers who are employed at New Orleans along with their wages for one year" ANDRONIQUE, Honoré, one of two laborers received a salary of 200 livres per year. The other laborer was Jean VATTIER. 1723, 15 JANUARY FFL 1:221 "List of workers retained in Louisiana" ANDRONICQ, Honoré is listed as on of the men "who were hired to saw lumber because the work of their trade was no longer required." His salary was 200 livres (the top amount paid to laborers in this class; only four of the 27 men listed ...
