Vivências da gestação na adolescência e redes de apoio ; Experiences of pregnancy in adolescence and support networks

Teenage pregnancy is considered a universal phenomenon, fraught with various biological, physiological and psychological changes and risks. Objective: to know the experiences of adolescent mothers about pregnancy and their support networks. Methodology: This is a study with a qualitative approach, with the Santa Maria University Hospital as the study scenario. The participants were six puerperal adolescents who were admitted to the Maternity Hospital in the second half of 2020. Data collection took place through semi-structured interviews, which were recorded using a digital recorder. The data were transcribed and submitted to thematic analysis. The research was governed by Resolution 466/2012, respecting the ethical aspects of research. Results and Discussion: Teenage pregnancy stands out as an experience permeated by an ambiguity of meanings and feelings brought by the adolescents. The support network enhances better living conditions, contributing to the personal and social development of adolescents. Access to the health service is notorious to be highlighted, as being an extremely relevant sector, becoming important spaces for welcoming and strengthening policies. Final considerations: In this perspective, it is possible to expand the development of the adolescents' autonomy for the care of themselves and the baby, in addition to stimulating their process of construction of the maternal occupational identity, having as a fundamental base the support network and access to the service of health. ; A adolescência é compreendida entre 12 a 18 anos e considerada fase de inúmeras transformações ...
