INCLUSION OF AUTISM IN PUBLIC COLLEGE DEGREE ; INCLUSIÓN DEL AUTISMO EN LA EDUCACIÓN SUPERIOR PÚBLICA ; INCLUSÃO DO AUTISTA NO ENSINO SUPERIOR PÚBLICO

According to the definition found in DSM-IV (2002) Autistic Disorder consists of the presence of a compromised or markedly abnormal development of social interaction and communication and a very restricted repertoire of activities and interests. The manifestations of the disorder vary greatly depending on the individual's level of development and chronological age. These characteristics impair the learning process, requiring greater attention from educational institutions. Due to the growing number of autists present in higher education, materials on the subject of inclusion in universities are needed. In the course of this paper, we will present bibliographic reviews found around the inclusion of autism in higher education, if there is and how this process is done, and its public policies. And finally, contribute with future studies and improvements in the inclusion of autism. ; Según la definición encontrada en el DSM-IV (2002), el trastorno autista consiste en la presencia de un desarrollo comprometido o marcadamente anormal de la interacción social y la comunicación y un repertorio muy restringido de actividades e intereses. Las manifestaciones del trastorno varían enormemente, según el nivel de desarrollo y la edad cronológica del individuo. Estas características perjudican el proceso de aprendizaje, requiriendo mayor atención por parte de las instituciones educativas. Debido al creciente número de autistas presentes en la educación superior, se necesitan materiales sobre el tema de la inclusión en las universidades. En el transcurso de este trabajo, presentaremos las revisiones bibliográficas encontradas en torno a la inclusión del autismo en la educación superior, si existe y cómo se realiza este proceso, y sus políticas públicas.
