      This essay was designed to present to technical-administrative servers in education (TAES) the main areas concerned with their conduct and ethical-functional training. These areas, sometimes, can be unduly triggered or even unknown by a large part of the academic community, such as: Ethics Commission, Internal Commission for Supervision of the Career Plan of Technical-Administrative Positions in Education, Ombudsman and Disciplinary Activity. Thus, the work seeks to present the main competences and influences that they can exert on the TAES. This is a theoretical essay, with a qualitative approach, which is based on the authors' professional experience. It is expected to contribute with an adequate understanding of the functions of each of the areas, so that there is no appropriation or overlapping of competences. ; Este ensayo fue diseñado para presentar a los servidores técnico-administrativos en educación (TAES) las principales áreas preocupadas por su conducta y formación ético-funcional. Estas áreas, en ocasiones, pueden ser desencadenadas indebidamente o incluso desconocidas por gran parte de la comunidad académica, tales como: Comisión de Ética, Comisión Interna de Supervisión del Plan de Carrera de Cargos Técnico-Administrativos en Educación, Defensoría y Actividad Disciplinaria. Así, el trabajo busca presentar las principales competencias e influencias que pueden ejercer sobre el TAES. Se trata de un ensayo teórico, con enfoque cualitativo, que se basa en la experiencia profesional de los autores. Se espera que contribuya con un conocimiento adecuado de las funciones de cada una de las áreas, para que no exista apropiación o superposición de competencias. ; Este ensaio foi idealizado para apresentar aos servidores técnico-administrativos em educação (TAES) as principais áreas preocupadas com a sua conduta e formação ético-funcional.
