The Influence of Scrapbook Media on Student Learning Outcomes in Class V Elementary School Science Subject : Pengaruh Media Scrapbook terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran IPA Kelas V Sekolah Dasar

This study aims to determine the effect of using scrapbook media on student learning outcomes in Natural Sciences (IPA) subjects in grade V of elementary school.The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The population of this study was all grade V students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Waru, totaling 27 students, with the sample used being saturated sampling. The research instruments were pretest and posttest tests with cognitive domain indicators from C1 to C6 that had been validated and declared reliable. Data collection used multiple choice tests and was analyzed using the N-Gain formula. The average pretest score of students before using scrapbook media was 60.8, while the average posttest score after applying scrapbook media increased to 88.9 with a gain index of 0.71 which was included in the high category. The results showed that there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes after using scrapbook media.
