Un viaje gastronómico a través de las pinturas

Una de las mayores preocupaciones de toda sociedad es procurar su alimentación. El consumo de los alimentos, desde la antigüedad, ha estado vinculado con lo que la naturaleza proporciona. Actualmente, en un mundo globalizado es posible tener acceso a los alimentos más exóticos del orbe. El arte pictórico ha desplegado a través el tiempo uno de los temas más ligados a la identidad cultural: las comidas. El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar el valor que tienen los alimentos en la historia de las culturas a través de algunas pinturas. La gastronomía es un reflejo fiel de la historia de las culturas y en las imágenes pictóricas se revelan las costumbres así como la historia y la evolución que se narra en cada uno de esos textos artísticos. Los planteamientos teóricos se basan en la semiótica de la cultura a partir de los estudios de Lotman que reflejan distintos aspectos relacionados con la semiosfera, la memoria y los textos culturales manifestados en el arte pictórico gastronómico. ; One of the major concerns of any society is related to the consumption of food. Since ancient times it has been connected with what nature provides. Currently, in a globalized world it is possible to have access to more exotic foods. However, the economic factor has been always present in the habits of the societies. In this sense, it is important to ask about the role of painting in the preservation or the memory of the everyday practices. Pictorical art has been deployed through time and it has tied to cultural identity issues: meals. Gastronomy is a refection of the history of cultures. The objective of this paper is to present the value of food in the history of cultures, the degree of preserving the paintings of culinary habits are translated into the history through time in the diferent communities.
