Nursing interventions promoting child development in early childhood: a scoping review. ; Intervenções de enfermagem promotoras do desenvolvimento infantil na primeira infância: uma scoping review

The child is a vulnerable being, so favorable conditions for a global and harmonious development must be provided. In this sense, it is necessary to know the relevant nursing interventions that enhance positive experiences in order to help the child reach their development potential, acting in terms of training their caregivers as well as the most favorable environmental conditions, so that the child can reach its maximum potential. A scoping review was carried out with the aim of obtaining the most recent scientific evidence regarding nursing interventions that promote child development during early childhood in the context of primary health care. The search was carried out using the search expression Health Promotion OR Child Development AND Child Health OR Nursing, in the PubMed database with search limiters. Using PRISMA 2020, of the 2842 articles identified, 5 were included in the review. As main results, nursing interventions focused on training parents and developing skills related to maintaining a safe and stimulating environment, promoting child development, stand out. Promoting healthy child development in early childhood is essential and will have a major impact throughout a person's life cycle. ; A criança é um ser vulnerável pelo que devem ser proporcionadas condições favoráveis a um desenvolvimento global e harmonioso. Neste sentido, é necessário conhecer as intervenções de enfermagem relevantes e que potenciem experiências positivas de modo a ajudar a criança a atingir o seu potencial de desenvolvimento, atuando a nível da capacitação dos seus cuidadores bem como das condições ambientais mais favoráveis, para que a criança possa atingir o seu potencial máximo.
