In our country people speak little and narrowly about “burnout” syndrome. Work with social risk persons requires both psychological and emotional training, so attention to health of specialists involved in this field should be special. For social workers it is highly important not only to do their job well, but also to be able to take care of themselves and their health. It is highly important not only to define “burnout” syndrome features, but also to conquer them. Subject of the Final Thesis - Expression of “burnout” syndrome of a social worker while dealing with social risk persons. Objective of the Final Thesis is to expression of “burnout” syndrome of a social worker while dealing with social risk persons. The first part of the Final Thesis provides the concept of professional “burnout” syndrome. The second part of the Final Thesis includes the discussion of the most important problems related to “burnout” syndrome of a social worker while dealing with social risk persons. The third part of the Final Thesis demonstrates the results of the research of “burnout” syndrome of social workers dealing with social risk in Visaginas Social Service Centre. Characteristic of the research. The research using qualitative method – survey – was used in order to study “burnout” syndrome of social workers dealing with social risk in Visaginas Social Service Centre. 12 social workers participated in the survey. The research results enable making of the following main conclusions: almost all specialists of social work field faced “burnout” syndrome, and some of them faced it several times. According to the research data, respondents suffering from “burnout” syndrome feel physical and emotional stresses. ...
