With Disney’s latest foray into video-streaming through Disney+, this paper tackles its development and positioning in the market space as competition within the industry intensifies. Thus, this paper analyses whether it is possible for Disney to win the video-streaming wars, leveraging the growth of Disney+ through its previous horizontal expansions, answering the initial question with a “yes” –inthe long run, Disney is likely to win.
