نبذة مختصرة : The confidentiality of someone's data that can be known by others is a problem that is often faced by many people. Where other unauthorized persons may obtain and obtain information that is personal. This happens because of the lack of a data security system so that many people who do not have the right to access it easily know the data or information. Today's cryptographic world is further facilitated by cryptographic applications where users no longer need a long, complicated and potentially error-free time, using existing algorithms, users can easily encrypt a text and describe it with just one click. Unfortunately the number of cryptographic applications that exist today is very minimal, especially in android operating system. The purpose of this research is to implement the AES (Adcvanced Encryption Standard) algorithm to encrypt and describe text data in the form of SMS on the android device, making the data more secure and confidential and data can not be manipulated or changed by unauthorized
