      Objective: Identify whether the inclusion of students with disabilities in physical education classes is configured as truth or utopia. Methodology: This is a descriptive, quantitative and cross-sectional study. They responded to a questionnaire consisting of 20 questions 30 Physical Education teachers from public and private schools in the city of Montes Claros – MG. The data were tabulated and it was carried out a descriptive analysis with real and absolute frequency values. Results: School Physical Education teachers aged from 25 to 49 years old participated in the study (with a predominance of males (51.3%), with the majority (67.3%) having more than 5 years of teaching. The teachers were asked whether they studied any subject in the undergraduate curriculum related to inclusion, and 83.3% (n=25) of them responded yes while (16.7%) n=5 responded no. This demonstrates that most teachers have knowledge of the importance of knowing how to deal with students with disabilities. We sought to address whether teachers receive support from the school and other specialized professionals, we can identify that 46.7% (n=14) pointed up that they sometimes receive this support and only 13.3% (n=4) always receive support and assistance. Conclusion: The study highlights several difficulties encountered in providing a quality inclusive education, especially at school. This includes the lack of accessibility for students with disabilities, the lack of sufficient emphasis on teacher training in inclusive education, as well as the lack of support from the school pedagogical body for access to courses and lectures in this area.
