      Acompanha: O trânsito é uma Ciência ; To raise awareness of traffic in 5th grade students, this research sought, from the theoretical framework of Chevallard, to respond to the research problem: How the methodology of the Three Pedagogical Moments mediated by comic books, anchored in the framework of didactic transposition, can contribute to the awareness of Elementary School I students for traffic safety? It was found in the Didactic Transposition the basis that guided all the work to address Newton’s three laws with the target audience of the research. The activities with the students were developed by the methodology of the three pedagogical moments and aimed to relate the concepts of Newton’s laws and traffic safety. The research is of a qualitative nature and the instruments for data collection were interviews, textual and artistic productions, and observation protocol. After collection, the data were analyzed in the light of discursive textual analysis. As a result, the students’ strong interest in traffic safety and its relationship with science was observed. It can also be highlighted as a result of this research the apprehension of human concepts and values that the students demonstrated in their productions. At the end of the research, from the problematizing approach of the three pedagogical moments, with the traffic theme, it was noticed that the students were able to relate Newton’s three laws at different times. ; Em busca de despertar uma conscientização para o trânsito em alunos do 5º ano, esta pesquisa procurou a partir do referencial teórico de Chevallard responder ao problema de pesquisa: Como a metodologia dos Três Momentos Pedagógicos mediada por histórias em quadrinhos, ancorada no referencial da transposição didática, pode contribuir para a conscientização de alunos do Ensino Fundamental I para a segurança no trânsito?
