      This Course Conclusion Paper presents the theme of Music as a pedagogical strategy in the process of teaching-learning in Early Childhood Education, exposes an exploratory research with teachers from public and private schools in the city of Taperoá, in the state of Paraiba, Brazil. The objective of this work is to show and analyze how teachers work and what each one thinks about the importance of music for the development of children. For the professor at the Music Department at the University of São Paulo, Teca Alencar de Brito, however, the curricula should not be cast. "Music cannot be taught from a utilitarian perspective. We are talking about art. It is necessary to explore sensitivities", says the specialist, creator of Teca Oficina de Música. It is important to note that music is present in various moments of our life and when worked correctly, the benefits are enormous, for development, socialization and as a facilitator of the teaching-learning process. The research methodology called an exploratory research, with the development of a bibliographic research and with the participation of teachers through a questionnaire created in Google Forms and sent the link to them, with questions and answers on the topic of Music. The teachers in their reports demonstrate to know the importance of music for the development of the children and that they always work during the activities.
