Contributions to the Understanding of the Nature of Science in Science Education: a Study Based on the Latourian Conception of the Fabrication of Scientific Objectivity ; Contribuições para a Compreensão da Natureza da Ciência na Educação em Ciências: um Estudo a Partir da Concepção Latouriana Sobre a Fabricação da Objetividade Científica

In this theoretical article, we draft from the well-known observation that teaching about science is also teaching about the nature of science. Seeking to contribute to this line of research and education, we analyzed the construction of scientific objectivity, from the perspective of Bruno Latour, in three different moments: laboratory research, argumentative positioning of scientific articles, and wider circulation of knowledge in scientific and sociocultural circles. We discuss implications for understanding the nature of science, and finally we point out some research questions and consequences for teaching. ; O presente artigo teórico parte da constatação já alicerçada na comunidade de pesquisadores em educação de que ensinar ciência é também ensinar sobre a natureza da ciência. Procurando contribuir para esta proposta de pesquisa e ensino, analisamos a construção da objetividade científica, sob a perspectiva de Bruno Latour, em três momentos distintos: a pesquisa em laboratório, o posicionamento argumentativo do artigo científico e a circulação mais ampla do conhecimento na comunidade científica e nos contextos socioculturais. Discutimos as implicações para a compreensão da natureza da ciência e, ao final, apontamos algumas questões de pesquisa e consequências para o ensino.
