Movie directors have searched for, currently, the compositions of stories that have dialogue as a theme and that have more popular fiction: melodrama, the noir film, the slap-stick comedy, and the thriller. Pode-se afirmar, segundo o autor, que essa filmografia guarda certa continuidade temática com o passado, trabalhando sobre chaves estéticas diferentes.
