An approach to pottery from Talampaya National Park ; Aproximación a la cerámica del Parque Nacional Talampaya ; Abordagem à cerâmica do Parque Nacional Talampaya

Although research on the archaeological heritage at the Talampaya National Park (PNTA) started by the mid last century, pottery as a materiality has been absent in the publications of the area, partly due to the limited number of excavations and surveys carried out to date. Regardless of its reduced number, it is important to present the ceramic material recovered in the PNTa as it could inform on unresolved questions in the area, such as the kind of occupation around the Talampaya river valley and its chronological assignation. The collection studied includes significant materials which indicate the presence of human groups in the area in periods corresponding to the development of the Ciénaga and Sanagasta-Angualasto styles, with formal and technological uniformity. Furthermore, the analysis of findings distribution indicates that the PNTA has a high potential for this material throughout its area. Until a larger sample of significant materials are recovered, this article summarizes the situation of the ceramics from the Talampaya river valley and nearby areas as well as its chronological connection with archaeological sites. ; Si bien las investigaciones sobre el patrimonio arqueológico del Parque Nacional Talampaya (PNTA) se originan en la segunda mitad del siglo pasado, la cerámica ha sido una materialidad ausente en los trabajos sobre el área, en parte por su escasez en las excavaciones y prospecciones llevadas a cabo hasta el momento. Sin embargo, es importante dar a conocer el repertorio cerámico localizado dentro del Parque, aunque se trate de una muestra pequeña, ya que ello permitirá avanzar en problemáticas irresueltas en esta zona como el tipo de ocupación que dominó dentro y fuera del valle del río Talampaya y su asignación cronológica.
