Metodologias ativas e ensino de língua Inglesa: um estudo de caso sobre o uso de filmes em sala de aula

This study has to investigate how Active Methodologies can contribute to the process of teaching and learning the English language through the screening of the film The Devil Wears Prada for students of the English language course of courses Milenium English Course, located in the city of Camaçari in the state of Bahia. For this, a research was done adopting an interpretative approach, in which qualitative and quantitative techniques were used for the data collection. To achieve this purpose, a questionnaire answered by the students after watching the film in question was adopted as the main methodological procedure. In general, it is concluded that the use of the film contributes in a satisfactory way with the amplification of the students' vocabulary, in the oral comprehension (pronunciation), as well as to stimulate interaction, exposition of opinions on the most varied themes such as job market, cultural differences, among others, which enables the student a reflexive and autonomous look at their process of teaching and learning the English language. ; Este estudo tem como objetivo investigar de que forma as Metodologias Ativas podem contribuir no processo de ensino e aprendizagem da língua inglesa através da exibição do filme The Devil Wears Prada* para estudantes do curso de língua inglesa da escola de cursos livres Milenium English Course, situada na cidade de Camaçari no estado da Bahia. Para isso, foi feita uma pesquisa adotando um enfoque interpretativo, na qual se utilizou técnicas qualitativas e quantitativas para a coleta de dados. Para alcance desse propósito, adotou-se como principal procedimento metodológico um questionário aplicado junto aos estudantes após assistirem o filme em questão.
