Dos cartas comerciales de los Banū Hilāl de época de Jaime II y Pedro IV ; Two commercial letters of the Banū Hilāl from the time of Jaime II and Pedro IV

El presente artículo pretende resaltar los contactos culturales a través de la diplomacia entre las dos riberas del Mediterráneo occidental, tras un estudio preliminar en donde se traza la realidad medieval de los reyes de Aragón y los sultanes del Magreb. El estudio de los tratados de paz y comercio que fueron firmados entre las potencias cristianas con los países magrebíes nos descubre la importancia de los reinos mediterráneos y la existencia de vínculos comerciales entre la corona aragonesa y los sultanatos magrebíes desde los primeros tiempos de la supremacía de los países cristianos con respeto a los musulmanes en cuanto a la organización del espacio marítimo. En este trabajo estudiamos el contexto histórico, y realizamos la edición y traducción de dos misivas comerciales de los Banū Hilāl al rey Jaime II de 1323 y a Pedro IV en 1349, pertenecientes al Archivo de la Corona de Aragón. ; This article aims to highlight the cultural contacts through diplomacy between the two shores of the western Mediterranean, after a preliminary study in which the medieval reality of the kings of Aragon and the sultans of the Maghreb is traced. The study of the peace and trade treaties that were signed between the Christian powers and the Maghrebi countries reveals the importance of the Mediterranean kingdoms and the existence of trade links between the Aragonese crown and the Maghrebi sultanates from the early days of the supremacy of the Christian countries over the Muslims in terms of the organization of the maritime space. In this paper we study the historical context, and perform the edition and translation of two commercial missives of the Banū Hilāl to King Jaime II in 1323 and to Pedro IV in 1349, belonging to the Archive of the Crown of Aragon.
