      The present work is research carried out with teachers from several schools in the city of Caicó, Rio Grande do Norte. We seek, in the present study, to propose a reflection on the teachers who taught during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially those who taught mathematics. It is known to all that many difficulties were encountered by these teachers and what solutions were found for them. In this context, our main objective is to identify evidence of knowledge mobilized by teachers in the early years of Elementary School, in the city of Caicó, when teaching mathematics during the Emergency Remote Teaching period. As a research methodology, we used a qualitative and interpretive approach. As an instrument for collecting data and information, we used the elaboration and application of a questionnaire. The questionnaires revealed teachers with many difficulties in seeking new strategies to teach mathematics in remote teaching. The main results demonstrate that: the difficulties felt by teachers who teach mathematics in Brazil, were even more accentuated with the arrival of remote teaching during the pandemic, this fragility is directly related to the difficulties in dealing with technological means and the lack of training adequate continuous education in mathematics, so that there is a deepening in the knowledge of the contents. However, when we argue about how mathematics teaching happened during the pandemic, we count on future teachers to always seek to improve their teaching strategies, as well as to seek new strategies, and that the institutions responsible for continuing teacher training can review their means of teaching about specific mathematical content, which seek to mobilize knowledge about ways of presenting content, resources and materials, as well as several others, with the aim of qualifying their teachers. ; O presente trabalho trata-se de uma pesquisa realizada com professores de diversas escolas do Município de Caicó, Rio Grande do Norte.
