Narrativas orais e escritas: relatos de uma experiência intercultural

This text is the result of the experiences of the course oral and written narratives, contextual theme worked in the first half of 2015 with indigenous students from eight ethnic groups, of the Intercultural Education course, Federal University of Goiás. The course was based on interculturalism, both as regards the exchange of knowledge between different indigenous groups represented, as between them and aspects of the cultures of other people we read about in addition to aspects of non-indigenous culture. One of the objectives of the course was to draw attention of students to the social function of narrative within an indigenous community and the complexity involved in this discourse genre so familiar to all of them. The narratives, oral and written, were identified by students as an essential means of transmission, recovery and update the culture and language of a people. ; Editora da UFG ; Este texto é o resultado das experiências vivenciadas no curso Narrativas orais e escritas, tema contextual trabalhado no primeiro semestre de 2015 com estudantes indígenas de oito etnias, do Curso de Educação Intercultural, da Universidade Federal de Goiás. O curso teve como base a interculturalidade, tanto no que se refere à troca de conhecimentos entre os diferentes grupos indígenas representados, quanto entre estes e aspectos das culturas de outros povos sobre os quais lemos, além de aspectos da cultura não-indígena. Um dos objetivos do curso foi chamar a atenção dos estudantes para a função social da narrativa dentro de uma comunidade indígena e para a complexidade que envolve esse gênero discursivo tão familiar a todos eles. As narrativas, orais e escritas, foram apontadas pelos estudantes como sendo um meio fundamental de transmissão, valorização e atualização da cultura e da língua de um povo.
