نبذة مختصرة : Enabling the understanding of aspects of Environmental Health today can be an important educational action. The subjects that involve the theme of Environmental Health should not be restricted to health professionals, on the contrary, the school being a promoter of Environmental Education practices should take ownership of the theme in order to better contextualize and disseminate a more critical and participatory conception among students. Matters that interfere in everyone's health. This is the contribution of this study, whose objective was to analyze the conceptions of students of “Youth and Adult Education” (in portuguese EJA) living in Santo André / SP, and through a diagnosis, understand which environmental education practices could help contextualize the issues that involve the collective health of this population. For that, the methodology used was understood in the application of questionnaires. The results showed that although there is a concern with environmental problems that imply health, there were few diseases related to such a wide variety of these problems. In addition, EJA students point out the need for the topic of Environmental Health to be treated more and more at school and recognize themselves as responsible for collective health in the neighborhood where they live. For this, there is a need to expand and improve environmental education actions that, above all, make it possible to awaken self-awareness of environmental conditions in favor of their own health and of the community. ; Possibilitar o entendimento de aspectos sobre a Saúde Ambiental nos dias atuais pode ser uma importante ação educativa.
