Specialized nursing terminology for low-risk prenatal care for pregnant women: a methodological study ; Terminologia de enfermagem para o cuidado à gestante no pré-natal de baixo risco: estudo metodológico

Objective: Build a specialized nursing terminology for the care of pregnant women in low-risk prenatal care, using the International Classification for Nursing Practice (ICNP®) version 2019/2020. Method: Methodological study conducted in three stages: 1) Identification of terms of nursing professional language on nursing practice in the care of pregnant women in low-risk prenatal care; 2) Cross-mapping of the terms identified with Terms of the ICNP® and 3) Classification of the terms identified according to the Seven Axis Model of the ICNP® 2019/2020. Results: 12,125 terms were extracted and the selection process was then carried out in 95 terms, which were mapped with the ICNP® and analyzed according to the degree of equivalence thus, 61 (64.2%) terms were identified in the ICNP® version 2019/2020, 38 (40%) with equivalence grade 1 and 23 (24.2%) with equivalence grade 2; and 34 (35.8%) terms not contained in this classification, with 3 (3.2%) being an equivalence grade 3, 12 (12.6%) with an equivalence degree 4 and 19 (20%) with an equivalence degree 5. Conclusion: A specialized nursing terminology was constructed for the care of pregnant women in low-risk prenatal care that will contribute significantly in nursing practice in the care of this clientele, as well as, will serve as a basis for structuring a terminological subset of the ICNP®. ; Objetivo: Construir uma terminologia especializada de enfermagem para o cuidado à gestante no pré-natal de baixo risco, utilizando a Classificação Internacional para a Prática de Enfermagem (CIPE®) versão 2019/2020.
