La imatge literària de l’infern en la narrativa testimonial de Primo Levi a través de Se questo è un uomo

El nostre ànim, en aquestes pàgines, consisteix a analitzar la seva primera i central obra; Se questo è un uomo (1947), per tal de copsar la manera en la qual, Levi, construeix la imatge literària de l’infern al redós del Lager d’Auschwitz. Aquest viatge el realitzarem a través de l’anàlisi de diversos fragments de l’obra de Levi, acarats oportunament amb altres obres de la literatura universal, com la Commedia dantesca. D’aquesta manera podrem capir la manera singular en la qual Levi s’insereix en l’univers concentracionari, testimonial i la singularitat del seu testimoni, que posa de manifest la lluita i, si escau, el triomf de l’esperit humà per tal de no defallir ni ser anihilat a l’infern dels camps. Finalment, repassarem la manera en la qual l’infern ha reeixit en ser explicat, testimoniat, i ha esdevingut un llegat per a les noves generacions en forma d’esperança i testament ètic: mai més! ; [eng] Thirty-five years after Primo Levi's death, his work, and his legacy as a witness to the horrors of the Holocaust are still focal in aims to understanding the history and memory of the 20th century. Our main goal is to analyse his first and core work; Se questo è un uomo (1947), allowing us to understand the way in which Levi builds its own literary image of hell around the Auschwitz camp experiences. We will enter this journey through the analysis of several fragments of Levi's work, opportunely combined with other related works of universal literature, such as Dante's Commedia.
