نبذة مختصرة : Sirakambavadham (Cerebral Palsy) is one of the most important motor disorder. The neurological complaints present in this disease can only be managed. The aim of this study is the management of Sirakambavadham (Cerebral Palsy) with Kandathiri choornam (internal) and Laguvishamusti thylam (external) in the age group of 2 to 12 for 45 days. The drug was analysed and it was safe to use. there was no presence of aflotoxins, heavy metals and organo pesticide residue. ❖ Physicochemical, Phytochemical, and Biochemical analysis were done for the medicine. Physicochemical study showed that free flowing property and soluble in ethanol and DSMO. The drug was also assessed for muscle relaxant activity by Docking study This study reveals the promising muscle relaxant activity. ❖ Biochemical analysis shows the presence of calcium, iron, carbonate, reducing sugars and sulphate. Phyto chemical study revealed the presence of alkaloids, glycosides, steroids, triterpenoids, coumarin, phenols, tannin, saponin, sugar and beta cyanine. ❖ Hence, the component present in the drug have the ability to treat and manage Sirakambavadham (Cerebral Palsy). ❖ The drug was also assessed for muscle relaxant activity by Docking study. Hence this study express that the Kandathiri Chooranam and Laguvishamusti thylam can be used as a best option in the treatment and management of CP. ❖ The participants were assessed using the significant scale such as GMFCS, Modified Ashworth Scale, Modified Tardieu Scale, Posture Ability Scale during the treatment. The Statistical analysis of the score provided significant result. There was a moderate improvement in all cases and good improvement in significant number of cases. ❖ Hence, this study revealed that the Kandathiri Chooranam and Laguvishamusti thylam can be used as a best option in the treatment and management of CP.
