نبذة مختصرة : In the digital era, multimodal literacy is an important skill that educators, especially novice teachers, must have. Beginner teachers experience difficulties in learning multimodal literacy by integrating TPK due to several factors including students' lack of knowledge about technology, students' lack of concentration, slow internet connections. By utilizing various media and communication formats, multimodal literacy not only enriches students' learning experiences but also increases teaching effectiveness. This research aims to (1) identify the ways noviceEnglish teachers in implementing multimodal literacy by integrating TPK, (2) Obtain information about the challenges faced by novice English teachers when implementing multimodal literacy by integrating TPK, (3) identify the ways solutions faced by language teachers English beginners challenge. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach with the subject being novice English teachers in one of the high schools in Malang Regency using 2 samples of novice English teachers as data collection centers. Semi-structured interviews, observation and documentation were used to gain in-depth insight from novice English teachers to identify the challenges and opportunities faced by novice teachers in integrating multimodal literacy into their teaching practices. The result of this research is that by integrating technological tools such as Canva, YouTube, Quizizz, and Edpuzzle, you can create an interactive learning experience. However, challenges such as students' limited technology skills and slow internet connectivity hinder the effectiveness of learning. To overcome this problem, novice English teachers develop strategies such as designing structured lessons and collaborating with colleagues. Recommendations for increasing the implementation of multimodal literacy include investing in technological infrastructure, developing TPK in teacher training programs, and creating a school culture that supports innovation.
