      This research exposed repercussions on the teaching and learning process caused by the public health emergency caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in Brazil. The general objective of the study was to investigate strengths and weaknesses in the use of technologies in remote teaching, considering the contexts of Mathematics teachers in Basic Education and Higher Education. This study was carried out with mathematics teachers who work in Basic Education in the Municipality of Mamanguape and in higher education in the Mathematics Degree Course at UFPB, IV Rio Tinto campus. The methodology used in the research in relation to the objectives was the descriptive research and in relation to the technical procedures the case study was used. The research population consisted of 17 teachers, who work in higher and basic education in public and private education institutions in the municipality of Mamanguape-PB, in the data collection a structured questionnaire was applied, containing two parts, one related to sociodemographic data and another part related to the objective of the research that was applied in person and online through the Google Forms tool, then the data were grouped in the Excel 2019 program and, after, analyzed using descriptive and analytical statistics, tables and tables were prepared graphics. As a result, the study showed which platforms and digital tools were used during remote teaching by mathematics teachers, it was possible to expose challenges and various difficulties in the teaching process during this period. However, even in the face of the adversities faced by the research participants, some benefits were mentioned, such as technological improvement. However, social and educational inequalities must be considered in the elaboration of public policies, seeking to ensure equitable accessibility to technological means for those who are part of the teaching-learning process, without exclusions. ; A presente pesquisa expôs repercussões no processo de ensino e aprendizagem ocasionada na emergência de ...
