    • نبذة مختصرة :
What would our enjoyment and knowledge of world cinema be without translation? Ever since the silent era, cinema has relied on translation to reach audiences all over the world. Without subtitling, dubbing, and other forms of translation, films would be confined within their own languages and geolinguistic areas. Translation is a necessity for the worldwide distribution and exhibition of film, but so far, it has been overlooked as an essential, not to say fascinating, aspect of film history and preservation.
