      Zdrava prehrana je ona prehrana koja se sastoji od proizvoda koji dobro utječu na ljudski organizam. Prehrana ima velik utjecaj na naše zdravlje, stoga je preporučljivo da se pravilno konzumira. Namirnice koje čovjek konzumira mogu se svrstati u šest glavnih kategorija, a to su: žitarice, meso, riba i jaja, mlijeko i mliječni proizvodi, voće i povrće te masti i slatkiši. Hranjive tvari dijele se na mikronutrijente i makronutrijente. Mikronutrijentima pripadaju ugljikohidrati, bjelančevine i masti, a makronutrijentima pripradaju vitamini i minerali. Kako bi čovjek bio zdrav bitno je zdravo se hraniti. Zdrava prehrana ključna je za rast i razvoj djece mlađe školske dobi i stjecanje zdravih navika u životu. Ovaj rad usmjeren je na istraživanje prehrambenih navika učenika mlađe školske dobi . U istraživanju su sudjelovali učenici od 1. do 4. razreda osnovne škole. Istraživački se uzorak sastojao od 77 učenika. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da se većina djece zdravo hrani. Bitno je naglasiti da veliku ulogu u tome imaju njihovi roditelji koji im svakodnevno pripremaju obroke. ; Healthy diet consists of ingredients that have positive influence on human organism. Diet has a large influence on our health, so it is recommended to have healthy food choices. We can put groceries into six different categories, which are: cereals, meat, fish and eggs, milk and nilkproducts, fruites and vegetables and fat and sweets. Nutrients are divided into micro and macronutrients. Micronutrients are carbohydrates, proteins and fats, and macronutrients are vitamins and minerals. It is important to eat healthy to stay healthy. Also, healthy diet is important for younger school children because it is crucial for their growth and development as well as developing healthy habits in life. This paper is focused on research of healthy diet and eating habits of younger school children. In research participated students from 1. to 4. grade of elementary school.
