      People who do not have any kind of physical disability can find barriers that hinder your access to some urban spaces and public or private buildings. For people with some kind of disability, these difficulties are more constant, since accessibility is not treated properly by the Government. In urban areas it is common to find barriers that offer some kind of danger or difficulty of access for both person dictates as “normal” as to the person with a disability. If in urban areas the situation is this, what to think of accessibility in school spaces? Does the structure of schools is suitable for receiving a student with a physical disability (wheelchair). This question will be answered through research carried out in a regular network of College teaching in Araguaína - TO. Reveal the opinion of araguainenses about the city's architectural accessibility to Araguaína – TO and its schools and diagnose the architectural accessibility level that the State College Adolfo Bezerra de Menezes has is main goal of research. So that this goal was achieved was conducted bibliographic survey, questionnaires and photographic record of the College. Field research this work is divided into two parts. The first sought to show the opinion of the respondents regarding the architectural accessibility in the town of Araguaína-TO and in their schools, where they revealed that the respondents believe that have few resources to promote accessibility to disabled people. In the second part is treated in the architectural structure of the State College Adolfo Bezerra de Menezes, which revealed that such institution presents few resources for promotion of the architectural accessibility wheelchair accessible, showing students that the institution still requires many major adequacies.
