نبذة مختصرة : The paper reviews the characteristics of fuses, circuit breaker, digital relay protection. Short introduction of popular security hardware manufacturers been done. Security devices are chosen and combined with normal inverse, very inverse, extremal inverse and long-time inverse time and current characteristics with digital relay protection. The reasearch determined which of the security devices are most similar to the characteristics of digital relay protection. Also, the influence of the time multiplier "k" on the similarity of the security features is determined. Recommendations for the coordination of guard characteristics are given.
