YOUTUBE E A PRODUÇÃO DAS INFÂNCIAS: : um olhar para as questões de gênero ; YOUTUBE AND THE PRODUCTION OF CHILDHOODS: : a look at gender issues ; YOUTUBE Y LA PRODUCCIÓN DE INFANCIAS: : una mirada a las cuestiones de género

The conception of childhood took new directions in Brazil, especially from the 20th century onwards, when the specific and peculiar needs of children began to be understood more intensely. At the same time, we can see the great visibility that children have gained in contemporary times. One of these spaces of visibility is YouTube. Taking this space as educational, this article aims to analyze five episodes of the channel “Maria Clara and JP”, seeking to problematize the ways in which boys and girls are positioned from a gender perspective. Methodologically, a cultural analysis was carried out from the theoretical perspective of post-structuralist Cultural Studies, making special use of the concepts of representation and cultural pedagogies. The results showed that there are reiterations with regard to gender scripts, but there are also ruptures, since boys and girls have the possibility of carrying out actions and using languages that are associated with both femininity and masculinity. ; La concepción de la infancia tomó nuevos rumbos en Brasil, especialmente a partir del siglo XX, cuando comenzaron a comprenderse más intensamente las necesidades específicas y peculiares de los niños. Al mismo tiempo, podemos comprobar la gran visibilidad que han adquirido los niños en la época contemporánea. Uno de estos espacios de visibilidad es YouTube. Tomando este espacio como educativo, este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar cinco episodios del canal “María Clara y JP”, buscando problematizar las formas en que se posicionan niños y niñas desde una perspectiva de género. Metodológicamente se realizó un análisis cultural desde la perspectiva teórica de los Estudios Culturales postestructuralistas, haciendo especial uso de los conceptos de representación y pedagogías culturales.
