نبذة مختصرة : Aggression is a usual behaviour of dogs. It is used to move a protagonist away. Aggression can be used to seize some resources or to repel a threat. Many dogs can perceive the veterinary visit as a threat. That is why, many aggressions happen at the veterinary practice. The consequences for the caregivers are bite wounds which might lead to severe complications as infections. Suitable environment and approach, a better understanding of dog's communication, and the right tools and handling methods can help us reduce the perceived threat, and so, prevent canine aggression. Furthermore, habituation and counterconditioning are two powerful tools that may change the dog's emotional state during the visit. If, despite the previous measures, the procedure cannot be achieved without arousing the dog or taking risks, anxiolytic or sedative drugs shall be used. As found in the literature for foreign countries, bites also affect veterinary, veterinary student and assistant in our French speaking study. According to our sample, safety, animal welfare and care quality suffered while working with aggressive dogs. Using the testimonies gathered, possible answers were suggested to improve our care of aggressive dogs. ; L'agression est un comportement normal du chien, utilisé pour mettre à distance un autre protagoniste. Ce comportement peut être exprimé pour s'approprier une ressource ou pour repousser ce qui est perçu comme une menace. La visite chez le vétérinaire peut être perçue comme une menace par le chien. Par conséquent, les agressions canines sont fréquentes et il en résulte, chez les vétérinaires et leurs équipes, de nombreuses morsures dont les conséquences, notamment les infections, peuvent être grave. Un environnement et une approche adaptés, une meilleure compréhension des signaux émis, ainsi qu'une contention et des outils appropriés permettent de réduire la menace perçue, et ainsi, de limiter les agressions.
