Introduction: Organ transplantation is a major public health issue. It increases the life expectancy and the quality of life for patients with organ failure. Currently in France, transplants are only possible if there are enough donors. Even if the average ages of donors and transplanted are similar (respectively 53 years old and 52.4 years old), the proportion of donors over 60 years old is increasing. Non removal is mainly explained by the opposition rate to the procedure ( 33,6%) . Those one has been remaining stagnant in France for several years. Most of them don’t communicate their choice (64.7%), almost a third communicate their close relatives (31.3%) and a little to their practitioners (4.0%). Among the 58 individuals who communicated their choice, 9 of them think it may not be respected. 53.2% of patients over 60 years old believe there is an age limit to donation ( 66.4 years).
