      El presente estudio se centra en analizar las prácticas de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial (RSE) en el sector turístico de Cartagena, con el objetivo de comprender su influencia en indicadores económicos y sociales relevantes. En el primer capítulo, se establece un marco teórico que contextualiza la importancia de la RSE en el turismo, explorando teorías existentes y mejores prácticas identificadas en destinos comparables. La sección de indicadores económicos y sociales identifica y analiza elementos clave para evaluar el impacto, seguido de un análisis comparativo entre las prácticas en Cartagena y destinos similares. Los resultados preliminares y conclusiones parciales se presentan, preparando el terreno para el segundo capítulo. ; This study focuses on assessing the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices in the tourism sector of Cartagena, aiming to comprehend their influence on relevant economic and social indicators. The first chapter establishes a theoretical framework contextualizing the importance of CSR in tourism, exploring existing theories and best practices identified in comparable destinations. The section on economic and social indicators identifies and analyzes key elements to assess the impact, followed by a comparative analysis between practices in Cartagena and similar destinations. Preliminary results and partial conclusions are presented, laying the groundwork for the second chapter. The second chapter addresses effective business strategies to promote CSR and foster economic sustainability in Cartagena. A theoretical framework based on Stakeholder Theory and the Triple Bottom Line Model is explored, followed by best practices identified in comparable tourist destinations. Specific strategies, such as sustainable certification, financial incentives, and community collaboration, are proposed for Cartagena, along with the identification of challenges in their implementation.
