    • نبذة مختصرة :
This thesis is in the field of linguistics and aims at studying the grammatical structure of theid:āfa (annexation) in literary Arabic and the nominal structure in French. It is about the N N structure in both languages. Our problem statement was: Given that the standard structure in French is subject + verb + complement, we ask ourselves: Is this nominal structure in French similar and applies in the sameway to the functioning of the id:āfa in Arabic ? Is this construction due to the result of the passage from form (surface structure) to content (underlying structure)? To answer these questions, we relied on a corpus of political texts that brings together two texts, written in Arabic and French by diplomats and translators at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. They are: A- Resolution 1970 (2011) adopted by the Security Council at its 6491st meeting on 26 February 2011, B- Resolution 1973 (2011) adopted by the Security Council at its 6498th meeting, on 17 March 2011 vis-à-vis Libya. We also relied on a list of examples of the N N in French that we took from the everyday language suchas : Rue Mégevand, Pôle emploi, congé maternité, congé paternité. Our analysis draws on the framework of Maurice Gross's Lexique-Grammaire and Zellig Sabbetai Harris' 1976 Transformational Theory. We examined the id:āfa in all its forms tounderstand the system of attribution in Arabic, and then we studied in particular the semantic id:āfa which deals with the nominal construction (N N). We determined all its syntactic and semantic specificities to compare it with the nominal construction (N N) in French. The analyses carried out led us to note that there is a syntactic variant between the corpus whose structure is in general: Dét N de N or Dét N de DétN, and the list of examples whose structure is: N N,Dét N N, N N N or Dét N N N. The results of this comparative study will make it possible to identify convergences and differences in order to facilitate the understanding of these mechanisms in both languages. ; Cette thèse ...
