      This dissertation proposes original frames of reference and develops significant innovative applications using new technologies. For the first time the educational process and the development of e-learning application are being reported as a composite project. Ways are presented to manage the above through the new model of e-learning management which is implemented (IP.AD).The instructor as a manager now has at his disposal tools, such as the UniPm application, based on scientific approaches to monitor and improve the educational process.The development of the suite UniSuite, which can be used for general as well as special purposes at all levels of education, as well as at lifelong learning is presented. UniSuite consists of the following subsystems:- Unibook, a synchronous and asynchronous e-learning platform based on flash technology (through BigBlueButton) - Unibook SE, the special edition of Unibook, which extends Unibook’s existing capabilities to older ages. - Uniboard, a web service which offers the ability to: a. monitor all relevant statistics in real time, b. predict the performance of the learner with high success rate, and c. enable the instructor to motify the trainee at will by electronic means, in order to better achieve objectives and results.- UniPM, another online service, which combines project management with e-learning. Finally, results that have been derived of an innovative application of the UniSuite platform are presented. These experiments have been held in various departments in the University of Piraeus. The outcome of these results revealed a positive perception of the technological process.
