      In a life of a company the most important issue is to have the most harmonizing human resources for its operation, which provides continuous success of its activity. A main, challenging task for HR departments in a company is to find, get, keep employees and bring out the best from the workers of the firm. This mission is not so simple in itself, moreover it is getting harder and harder standing out among organizations owing to the growing competition in the market, and it is even harder to keep employees. Possible solutions may include human resource management functions and systems that have been applied so far, when we rethink the optimization of their operation. Jobs mean the basis of human resource management systems, including job descriptions and supplementing job specifications. In my researches I emphasize the effective application and importance of these documents, by doing this providing a possible alternative for organizational development. Consequently, based on research results it may be declared regarding the examined organizations, that application of job descriptions, specifications and competency models do not appear to be a strategic means, the revision and update of job descriptions at middle managerial level is necessary; job descriptions at middle managerial level can be extended in their contents and be shortened in extent; the internal, organizational hierarchical relationships and the promotional opportunities are not clear; respondents are claiming improvements. ; Egy vállalat életében a legfontosabb, hogy rendelkezzen a működéséhez leginkább harmonizáló humán erőforrással, mely biztosítja munkájának folyamatos sikerességét. A szervezetek humánerőforrás részlegei számára kihívást jelentő feladat, hogy felkutassák, megszerezzék, megtartsák és a legjobb teljesítményt hozzák ki a vállalati alkalmazottakból.
