IDENTIDADES E CRENÇAS SOBRE SER E APRENDER A SER PROFESSOR DE INGLÊS: NARRATIVAS NA FORMAÇÃO INICIAL E CONTINUADA

Investigamos as identidades e as crenças de alunos de Letras Inglês da Unifesspa. O objetivo foi compreender como as crenças desses graduandos sobre como ser e aprender a ser professor de inglês estão relacionadas ao processo de formação de suas identidades docentes. A pesquisa bibliográfica foi baseada em estudos da Linguística Aplicada. Desenvolvemos um estudo de caso utilizando narrativas. Resultados apontam que as identidades profissionais dos sujeitos estão sendo construídas a partir das crenças que eles formaram e modificaram ao longo do curso por meio de suas próprias vivências passadas e presentes em ensinar e aprender idiomas em diferentes contextos. ; We investigated the identities and the beliefs of Bachelor's in English Teaching students at Unifesspa. The objective was to understand how the beliefs of these undergraduates about how to be and learn to be an English teacher are related to the process of formation of their teaching identities. The bibliographical research was based on Applied Linguistics studies. We developed a case study using narratives. Results show that the subjects' professional identities are being constructed based on the beliefs they formed and modified throughout the degree through their own past and present experiences in teaching and learning languages in different contexts.
